Our defence team at SERT offers contract, interim and permanent recruitment solutions to the public and private sectors. The success of the division has stemmed from conducting thorough candidate interviews and finding niche personnel under tight deadlines.
Using existing networks and referrals, our defence team has access to a wide range of candidates, not found on the traditional job boards and LinkedIn. Due to the nature of the industry, we source Suitably Qualified Experienced Personnel (SQEP) on minimal detail resulting from security restrictions imposed on national security critical projects. The team understands the Security Clearance processes and the need for urgent SQEP already hold it.
Our network includes many ex-military personnel whom we have helped get their first role after transitioning out the forces. We work as a key provider to the MOD & Strategic Partners via framework agreements. We work on projects in land, maritime, submarine, nuclear, aviation and IT and have worked with engineers with backgrounds in safety, airworthiness, quality assurance, project, human factors, mechanical and electrical to name a few.
Our approach to recruitment is tailored based on the need of our client and customer, thus establishing personal experiences is a priority. SERT has worked in the Defence industry for over 5 years and has established a presence in the South working with MOD and strategic partners. We work together with our candidates to find new roles, primarily in contracting, but some permanent in aviation, maritime, land and IT domains. We regularly have roles coming in for Airworthiness Engineers, Safety Engineers, Systems Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers and Requirements Engineers.
Due to the Defence environment, we are very restricted in what we can advertise as the vast majority require active security clearances, and our roles change on daily. Therefore, our biggest aide is you, our candidates, in knowing what types of roles you are looking for and suited to e.g. a Safety Manager in aviation.
