Business Development Executive – Facilities Management & Energy Services (Remote UK)

Are you a commercially minded Business Development Executive with experience in facilities management, energy services, or sustainability? At SERT, we’re working in partnership with one of the UK’s fastest-growing groups at the forefront of green energy, FM delivery, energy brokerage, and renewables installation. Together, we’re supporting the UK’s journey towards net-zero and we’re looking for ambitious sales professionals to help us drive growth.
What you’ll be doing:

Generating, developing and closing B2B sales leads within the facilities management, energy, and housing sectors

Building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers in property, sustainability, and operations

Promoting a broad range of integrated services, including:

Energy efficiency consultancy

Hard and soft FM service delivery

Industry training programmes
-
Green and renewable energy solutions

Collaborating with our in-house recruitment and delivery teams to provide end-to-end client solutions

Managing your pipeline via CRM tools and reporting on performance, forecasts, and activity
What we’re looking for:
We’re keen to hear from driven professionals with strong communication skills and a consultative approach to selling. Ideally, you’ll bring:

Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or a sales executive position

Knowledge of or experience in facilities management, energy services, renewables, sustainability, or the built environment

Confidence in engaging stakeholders at all levels, from operations to executive leadership

A self-starting attitude and the discipline to thrive in a remote, target-driven environment

Commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities for long-term partnerships
What’s in it for you:

A competitive base salary of £40,000 – £55,000, depending on experience

Uncapped commission with a realistic OTE of £70,000 – £90,000+
