Job description
The purpose of this role is to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all users of the school’s Community facilities by providing a professional reception and overall support service.
You will need to be able to communicate clearly in a professional and friendly manner and be confident using your own initiative as well as contributing as part of the team. You will have an understanding of health and safety and be able to provide exceptional service delivery. Regular evening and weekend work, both as part of a shift pattern and to cover unplanned absences is required.
Your duties will include preparation of the internal and external areas for events, classes and fixtures, and provide support for activities hosted on site. You will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities are maintained correctly and are found to be in a user friendly, secure and welcoming way. Previous experience of working in a similar position is desirable but not essential as relevant training will be provided to enable the post holder to carry out their duties competently.

- A confident, organised, pro-active individual who is able to prioritise their time and workload, whilst having the flexibility to deal with unexpected interruptions and urgent requests.
- A good communicator and a strong team player.
- Able to remain calm whilst working under pressure and have a clear understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
- Hold a clean driver’s licence
