This course is aimed at individuals looking to test the waters as an electrician. Qualifications earned (18th Edition and Domestic Electrical Installer (DEI)) will qualify learners to work as an electricians mate… next steps to become a fully qualified electrician would be to join an Apprenticeship or Diploma. From here learners can upskill into EV, Solar and more!
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – going through a grounding of legislation and regulation.
• Domestic Electrical Installer (Part P) – going through installation, service and repair of domestic circuits. Going through different types of cable and their usage and so on.
• Soft skills for Electricians – going through tools, PPE, Software and also highlighting electrical career pathways.
Prerequisites: Learners must be 19 years of age or over and not receiving any other funding for education (apprenticeships etc)
This training is to be delivered back-to-back over 2 working weeks. Starting in November
To further support learners we will shortlist them with employers looking for apprenticeships. Equally if a learner has found a company that would look to employ them, we can support their journey to become a fully qualified electrician. Part of the course the learner will spend time with our recruiters preparing for interviews and rewriting their CVs.
