Why TrustMark Chose SERT
Training Approach and Delegate Experience
SERT’s ASHP training course in Hampshire focused on giving auditors a thorough understanding of:
-
ASHP components, operation and system considerations
-
Proper system siting and potential installation issues
-
Regulatory requirements including G3 compliance and unvented cylinder discharge pipework
-
Practical hands-on demonstrations with real ASHP equipment
“The training was carried out by a competent and experienced lecturer at a good pace that allowed for questions to be asked as we went along. There was plenty of ‘hands-on’ opportunity to view the products close up.”
“Interesting points were the important locations of the ASHP and the issues that can be caused with them being sited in the wrong place and how they are secured when sited. This was very interesting and useful.”
“The offices and the training room were very nice and it was really good to be able to see examples of actual ASHPs.”
The training environment and facilities at our Whiteley centre were also highlighted as a key factor in delivering a high-quality learning experience in Hampshire.
Outcomes and Impact
By completing the ASHP training, TrustMark auditors enhanced their skills and confidence in assessing renewable energy installations. The course strengthened compliance with industry standards and allowed auditors to apply practical knowledge in their auditing roles. This demonstrates SERT’s ability to provide specialist renewable energy training for auditors in Hampshire and across the UK.
