The Cowplain School Electrical Skills Initiative (2024)
Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire
Focus: Youth electrical skills training
Description: SERT Training delivered practical electrical workshops, live demonstrations, and site visits with industry partners for school pupils, culminating in an award ceremony. This initiative inspired the next generation of electricians in Hampshire.
Green Skills Upskilling Project (2024)
Location: Havant & Portsmouth, Hampshire
Focus: Renewable energy and net zero training
Description: Delivered in partnership with Portsmouth City Council, Havant Borough Council and City of Portsmouth College, SERT Training provided accredited courses in solar PV, battery storage, EV charger installation, and air source heat pumps. The project awarded 180 qualifications to local residents and businesses, supporting Hampshire’s transition to net zero.
TrustMark Renewable Energy Auditing (2024)
Location: Hampshire and the South
Sector: Renewable energy auditing
Description: SERT Training delivered bespoke programmes for TrustMark auditors, covering air source heat pumps and solar PV systems. The training ensured auditors could assess and certify installations per industry regulations and quality standards, strengthening sustainability compliance across the sector.
