I grew up in Newquay with the sea on my doorstep, so surfing quickly became less of a hobby and more of a way of life. If the surf's firing, I’ll either be in it or booking the next flight to chase it. These days, when I’m not trying to catch waves, I’m teaching everything there is to know about heat pumps design, installation, and everything in between. I’ve got a bit of an obsession with the technical side of things, probably thanks to all those years studying thermodynamics and education. You could say I’ve gone from catching waves to changing the way we heat homes, still riding the energy, just in a slightly different form.
When I'm not knee-deep in surf or systems, I'm usually mid-conversation somewhere probably explaining how heat pumps work to someone who only asked what the weather’s doing. I like to keep things moving, keep people thinking, and if I can squeeze a bit of fun into the mix, even better. I’ve got a solid background in thermodynamics and education, but I’m not one to sit still and lecture. I’m here to shake things up, get people talking, and make sure the future’s a bit warmer (in the right way) and a lot more sustainable.
