SERT, in partnership with Havant Borough Council, is delivering Green Skills Funded Training through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This initiative helps local residents and workers gain the renewable and retrofit skills needed to support the South Coast’s transition to clean, sustainable energy.
Funding Support Available
Eligible learners can receive £250 off per course across our range of renewable energy training programmes.

Local Impact: Building Skills for a Greener Future
In 2024, SERT worked alongside Portsmouth City Council, Havant Borough Council, and City of Portsmouth College to deliver the Green Skills Upskilling Project, a major regional initiative funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Over 180 green energy qualifications were achieved across Hampshire, helping local tradespeople and businesses expand into solar, heat pumps, and EV charging technologies.
