Scaffolder – Dorset
Pay: £150–£300/day | Contract: CIS | Gang Rates Available
📍 Location: Dorset & South West | Ongoing Site Work
We’re actively recruiting scaffolders in Dorset for repeat work supporting solar panel installations and maintenance projects. Join our mobile teams delivering short-duration scaffolding builds across the region, with consistent callouts, flexible hours and subcontractor contracts under CIS.
This is an ideal opportunity for self-employed scaffolders or small teams looking to secure ongoing work in the growing renewable energy sector.
Role Overview
As a Solar Scaffolder, your responsibilities will include:

Erecting and dismantling access scaffolding for solar installations

Providing safe rooftop access for panel installs, inverter swaps, and repair callouts
-
Ensuring structures are stable, compliant, and correctly positioned for solar work
-
Completing short-term scaffolding jobs across multiple sites
-
Working with solar and roofing teams in a coordinated effort
Requirements
-
Valid CISRS card (Part 1, Part 2 or Advanced)
-
Previous experience in domestic scaffolding (solar experience a bonus)

Own transport, tools and PPE
-
Public liability insurance (for CIS subcontractors)

Ability to manage flexible site visits across the Dorset region

Team scaffolding crews welcome (gang rates available)
