Key Responsibilities

Lead the installation, servicing, and maintenance of air source heat pumps, hot water cylinders, and thermal storage systems

Carry out central heating installations and repairs across domestic and commercial sites in Coventry, Reading, Guildford, Oxford, and Cambridge

Provide on-site technical and practical support to colleagues and apprentices

Undertake fault diagnosis, system upgrades, and planned maintenance
-
Ensure full compliance with PAS 2030, MCS, and Gas Safe standards

Participate in overtime and call-out duties when required

Maintain accurate job records and follow health and safety best practice
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in air source heat pump installation jobs within the UK housing or local authority sector

Strong technical background in domestic and commercial heating systems

Competence in fault finding, BMS controls, and unvented hot water systems

Proficiency in a range of pipework installation methods

Full, clean UK driving licence

Excellent understanding of current renewable energy legislation and health & safety standards
Essential Qualifications

NVQ Level 2/3 in Domestic Plumbing (or City & Guilds equivalent)

Level 3 Award in Installation & Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems (C&G, BPEC, or LCL Awards)

G3 Unvented Hot Water Cylinder Certification

Water Regulations Certificate
Desirable: Additional HVAC, BMS, or commercial gas qualifications.
