Looking for freelance electrician jobs in Hampshire? This opportunity allows skilled electrical professionals to step into renewable energy training roles while supporting the growth of clean energy skills across the South Coast. Capacity is increasing in Q1 and experienced electricians are required to deliver short upskill courses, funded bootcamps, and specialist renewables training in Solar PV, Battery Storage (EESS), and EV Charging across Southampton and Fareham.
No teaching qualifications are needed, full training and upskilling provided. Ideal for qualified electricians wanting to diversify income, move into training and assessment, and help shape the next generation of renewable energy installers.
What You’ll Deliver
• Solar PV Installation & Commissioning
• Battery Storage / EESS (Design, Install, Safety, Commissioning)
• EV Charger Installation & Fault-Finding
• Practical workshops, short upskills, and funded bootcamps
• Technical mentoring, assessment support, and learner guidance
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified electrician (18th Edition as minimum)
• Hands-on experience in Solar PV, EESS and/or EV charging installation
• Strong communicator with ability to coach and share trade expertise
• Reliability and flexibility – demand for renewable skills is growing
• Willingness to deliver in-centre training 3 days per week (Nursling or Whiteley)
