What You’ll Be Doing

  • Monitoring and interrogating refrigeration systems using software technology
  • Identifying repeat issues and sites, assessing, designing, and implementing strategies to mitigate risk
  • Reducing the chance of further issues and improving overall service efficiency
  • Supporting Air Conditioning and M&E PPM teams and contributing to cross-departmental alignment
  • Mentoring and developing colleagues while showcasing technical expertise


What We’re Looking For

Specific Qualifications:
  • C&G F-Gas 2079
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in refrigeration
  • CO2 qualification or demonstrable experience in this area
  • Familiarity with CO2 Packs such as Green & Cool, SCM, Advansor
  • Hydrocarbon qualification – CARE (desirable)
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Strong attention to detail when interpreting technical and work order data
  • Proven ability to achieve first fix or temporary solutions to maximise equipment uptime
  • Ability to work independently and plan your working day effectively
  • Exceptional written reporting skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Advanced IT skills for programming CO2 controls
  • Significant experience in the retail or industrial refrigeration sector
  • Commercial awareness to reduce repeat failures
