Scaffolder – Sussex
Pay: £150–£300/day | Contract: Subcontractor (CIS) | Gang Rates Available
📍 Location: Sussex & South East England | Site-based
Looking for well-paid scaffolder jobs in Sussex with flexibility and steady work? We're recruiting experienced self-employed scaffolders to support solar panel installation and maintenance projects across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on short-duration scaffolding builds within the growing renewable energy sector. Ideal for subcontractors seeking flexible scheduling and ongoing jobs with a reliable client.
The Role
As a Solar Support Scaffolder, you’ll play a key role in enabling safe and efficient solar system installs and repairs:

Erect and dismantle scaffolding for solar panel installations

Provide short-term builds for inverter swaps, maintenance, and repairs

Support engineers with roof access for inspections or fault diagnostics

Work on both domestic and light commercial properties

Follow health and safety protocols to ensure compliant working conditions
Requirements

Proven experience in scaffolding erection and dismantling

Valid CISRS card or equivalent qualification
-
Own transport, tools and PPE
-
Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Team of scaffolders/gang? We welcome group applications with gang scaffolding rates
