About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Retrofit Assessor to carry out domestic retrofit assessments aligned with PAS 2035 requirements. Retrofit Assessors play a critical role in the UK’s whole‑house retrofit framework, providing the essential data that informs design and installation decisions across ECO4, SHDF, GBIS and other funded schemes, responsibilities that mirror those highlighted by UK retrofit organisations.
You will complete compliant assessments that feed directly into PAS 2035 delivery, working closely with Retrofit Coordinators, Designers and installation teams. This role is central to ensuring safe, effective and high‑quality retrofit outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out full domestic property assessments under PAS 2035, including energy reports, condition surveys and occupancy assessments, core tasks defined for Retrofit Assessors in the UK market
- Produce accurate, compliant assessment reports that directly support whole‑house retrofit design and risk assessment pathways, as required across UK PAS 2035 projects
- Upload documentation to TrustMark, Elmhurst, Retrofit Academy or equivalent assessment platforms
- Identify ventilation, fabric and building‑condition risks, providing the evidence base for safe and compliant retrofit measures
- Collaborate closely with design and installation teams, supporting effective measure selection and high‑quality installation outcomes
- Maintain high standards of documentation, ensuring all data meets PAS 2035 audit expectations and is fully compliant with funding scheme requirements (ECO4, SHDF, GBIS)
About You
- Qualified Retrofit Assessor, ideally holding the Level 3 Retrofit Assessor qualification (a requirement for PAS‑compliant projects)
- Experience working within PAS 2035 and/or ECO-funded programmes
- Strong documentation, data‑collection and reporting skills - critical for PAS 2035 evidence delivery
- Confident in conducting on‑site domestic assessments and working collaboratively with Coordinators, Designers and installers
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce audit‑ready assessment evidence
